It all started when…

Like every postpartum Momma I started wondering, when will I feel like myself again? I did not feel like I had any support from my OB or primary care physician and was tired of hearing “You just had a baby, of course you are tired”, “You are a Mom now, this is how you will feel for the next 18 years”, or the dreaded “this is normal”. I was sluggish, bloated, grumpy and I was tired of it. My pre-mom/college/young twentys way of restricting, exercising was not cutting it. I took matters into my own hands and decided I had to try something different. I started eating whole foods and intensely studying ingredient labels. I became inspector gadget except in this case it was inspector “what the heck is that word in the ingredient list”.

I was amazed by how much my body thrived off just that simple change of eating whole foods. My body was thanking me, but I knew there was even more to it. In comes my studies to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. You know that saying, “ you don’t know what you don’t know " ? Well now I know it - I now understand the foundations of health and what it takes to feel like the very best version of yourself and I want every women to have the same knowledge. It’s no longer the restricting of calories and an extra workout here and there. It’s about building up your foundations, supporting your hormones, digestion, adrenals, thyroid and detoxification. It sounds like a lot, but it’s truly simple and now I want every Momma to know the ways! Never again should any of us feel like we have to live a life feeling anything but our very very best. I know so many Moms looking for answers and I want to be the one stop shop where they can both feel their best, but also enjoy life freely and happily without restriction.
